Info
no_innocent_landscape is a two-person show and collection of works by painter, Meg Lagodzki and myself that centers around the myth of the pristine forest, the necessity of stewardship and the irreversible histories of disturbance. Southern Indiana—a region defined by extraction, regrowth, and resistance—this exhibition refuses the illusion of wilderness as untouched or benign. Instead, it asks: What stories do damaged forests tell of disturbance, survival, and change? What new things might emerge from storms and fires? The show was at the Process Gallery at IU Bloomington in September of 2025.
